Lesson Description
Everyone is welcome from beginners to advanced levels. We handle all ages from 4 years to 80! First timers are always under the supervision and handled with the utmost care. They are instructed in water safety, surfboard handling paddling out, popping up, and riding waves in their first surf class. Surf lessons are all over the beach, surely no shortage of local tallent and people willing to show you the love and passion of surf. Jaco is well known for its surf culture with world known talent that grew up right here in Jaco beach.
What To Bring
Very straight forward, as you must know we’re going to be swimming, swimwear is a must. We will provide you with a rash-guard if you wish we recommend using it as it will help prevent rash from the surf board. Sunscreen is highly recommended for being in the ocean as you won’t feel it until later. If you have a GoPro you are welcome, other then the listed we recommend keeping it in the room.
Skill Levels
Large range of classes available as you become more advanced, private classes, or groups. Advanced classes consist of reading the ocean, catching a wave, beginner tricks, and much more. So looking to polish your skills with some local advice, nothing better! What about a private class, where you’ll get the most out of the lesson.
Seasons On The Pacific
In Jaco, the Central Pacific area of Costa Rica, we have two remotely powerful seasons which we call: Dry Season (November – May) and Wet/Rainy Season (June – October). The rainy season will bring larger swell to Jaco, which you must be carful for more powerful waves, & stronger currents. Always important to learn the break before entering any beach.
Requirements
RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS
1) A Deposit of $25.00 per person will reserve your tour, the balance will be paid upon arrival.
2) We must confirm daily the tides with your reservation (So no set times)
3) Please add your hotel name & room number for pickup details if transportation is needed.
4) Transportation from Jaco is Included in the price.
5) Ability / knowledge to swim is a MUST.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1) Online reservations offer 5 days before the tour starts for a full refund, with no refunds after that.
2) No-Show or late arrivals, there will be no refunds, and the deposit will be lost.
