ABOUT THE TOUR
Tour Description
Traveling to the beautiful Tortuga Island on the Subwing tour. Small boat of only 8 people cruise to the island. Once arrive we take some time snorkeling around a few well known spots. Get ready as now we are going to fly underwater with the Subwing, really easy to use, and a ton of fun! Enjoy time on the island, a fresh cooked lunch, and beverages. Private tours are also available, just let us know.
What To Bring
We’re going to the beach! Bring your swimwear because you will need it. Recommended something that fits you good as you will be dragged during the Subwing activity. If you wish to bring anything you are welcome such as other food, or beverages. The tour includes a few beers each, soda, lunch and fruits. And like always, a hat and sunscreen is a great recommendation.
Transportation Details
Transportation from local hotel in Jaco and Herradura is included with this tour. The pickup is at 7:30am (If changes you’ll be notified) from the Jaco area. If you wish to drive yourself to the beach, the boat leaves from Herradura beach, plenty of places to park. And you must be there 15 minutes before the hour. [7:45am]
What If It Rains?
In Jaco, the Central Pacific area of Costa Rica, we have two remotely powerful seasons which we call: Dry Season (November – May) and Wet/Rainy Season (June – October). Depending on climate such as sever storms / wind to cancel the tour for your safety, and you apply for reschedule. If it’s just rain, we still operate as we have a chance of sun at the island.
Requirements
RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS
1) A Deposit of $20.00 per person will reserve your tour, the balance will be paid upon arrival.
2) Half Day option: 7:00am / 11:30am Pickup from Jaco | Full Day option: 7:00am.
3) Please add your hotel name & room number for pickup details if transportation is needed.
4) Transportation from Jaco / Playa Hermosa is Included in the price.
5) Ability & Knowledge of swimming is a MUST.
7) Good physical condition.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1) Online reservations offer 5 days before the tour starts for a full refund, with no refunds after that.
2) No-Show or late arrivals, there will be no refunds, and the deposit will be lost.
